Why do people write?

I’ve heard the sound of the keys in my keyboard more than I’ve listened to music all my life.

I don’t have a count of the words I’ve written so far.

I never really don’t know the people that had read my thoughts.

I’ve never cared if my grammar was perfect. I just write, write so much that I can change the narrative anytime I want.

For some of us, writing is expressing love, happiness, hugs, kisses, a walk in the nature, a painting, the smell of an infant and everything that’s beautiful. And sometimes, the opposite, indeed.

Writing creates a new world. In fact, ‘new worlds’ for each one of us.

We create characters, we determine what happens and we decide if it’s a happy or sad ending.

Writing always brings clarity of thoughts. It brings out the rawness of a mind, right from silence to screams, writing articulates everything, that even the writer would be astonished the outcome when thoughts flow like an unstoppable river.

Yes, writing is more than just words. It’s an expression of life!
